Mark 10:13-16 (NIV)
People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

The greatest need children have is to know and cherish the infinite value of God. We want children to become so acquainted with the Word of God that they treasure Him alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of the curriculum used at Sunnyside is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.

Where do you want your children to be 10 or 20 years from now? The deep-rooted faith we desire for children—a faith that weathers the storms of life and bears fruit for the glory of God—is nurtured by a systematic plan to communicate the greatness of God, the glory of Christ, and the power of the Gospel.

Sunday School!


Sunday school takes place Sunday mornings from 8:45-10:00am , and is for children from Preschool all the way through 6th Grade!

Wednesday Evenings


Faith Weavers!


Faith Weavers takes place Wednesday
nights from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. It is a place where kids Kindergarden through
5th Grade will:

  • Study, Memorize, and Apply Scripture!
  • Enjoy Being Creative!
  • Play Exciting Games!
  • Sing Fun Songs of Praise!

We don’t charge anything. We don’t charge anything, however an offering is taken on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to offset the costs for the God-centered materials used in these programs.



Do the kids need to bring anything?

Yes, their Bibles—each week, to both Sunday School and to Faith Weavers.
